Jeff’s Story

Jeff has recently moved back to Vero Beach and is excited to bring his unique brand of golf-specific fitness training to the Treasure Coast. Jeff moved to Vero Beach (from Canada) at 7 years old, and graduated from VBHS in 1978. He was very active in sports, eventually got hooked on jai-alai, and was the first amateur to turn pro at the Ft. Pierce fronton in 1985. In 1988, he moved to Tampa, and finished his jai-alai career in 1996, as he graduated with his associate degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

Jeff has had a wonderful career in helping his patients recover, plying his craft, and found that manual therapy techniques actually brought better/faster results. Jeff has also been the Rehab Director at both the Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living levels, and is currently working in Home Health in Vero Beach, and surrounding communities. He became the first Tampa Bay golf fitness professional over 20 years ago, promoting the importance of the missing ingredient of golf fitness training as he spoke on radio, television, and writing various golf articles. He worked with well over 200 golfers, from beginner to professional, the USF men’s and women’s golf teams, and provided fitness classes at area country clubs.

Jeff was an owner/franchisee of Body Balance for Performance of Tampa Bay, and trained with the first Physical Therapist to the PGA, Paul Callaway. Jeff was also Director of Performance Golf Institute, and has recently joined Titleist Performance Institute, as a certified golf fitness expert. Jeff is also a certified personal trainer, and was certified as a mat Pilates instructor. Jeff has certainly seen the paradigm shift, as today’s recreational and professional golfers now understand the importance in keeping their golfing body in the best shape possible. Your body is your most important piece of golf equipment! Jeff can help take your golf game to the next level, guaranteed!
